Former Governor of Plateau State,Senator Jonah David Jang on Tuesday  honoured an invitation extended to him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC at its headquarters in Abuja.

It was gathered that the invitation by the anti-graft agency which came less than twenty four hours after the former Governor criticized both the federal and state governments for failing to protect the lives of the citizens against incessant  attacks and killings was meant  for the Senator to give account of his stewardship when he was Governor of Plateau state between 2007 and 2015.

A Statement signed by his Senior Legislative aide,Olivia Dazyem, which confirmed the development ,however, said that the former Governor has nothing to hide with respect to the sterling legacy of performance he has so far established in public life.

According to her, as a man whose seasoned record of achievement in all ramifications of governance are scattered across the nooks and crannies of Plateau State, with visible infrastructural spectacles in all the 17 Local Government Areas of the state,  Senator Jang believes in the mandate of the EFCC where genuine probity and accountability are concerned.

While  calling on  his  supporters , friends  and well wishers   to remain unperturbed  over the development, the statement maintains that the former Governor left a legacy of service to the people during his eight year administration, and as such, there is nothing to fear over the invitation extended to him  by the EFCC
