Super Eagles Beat Argentina 4-2

Super Eagles began their preparation for the 2018 World Cup in Russia on a bright note coming from two goals down to beat Argentina 4–2 in Krasnodar, Russia on Tuesday.
A horrific Daniel Akpeyi error gifted the Argentines their first goal with the first effort of note on 27 minutes, as Ever Banega fired a free-kick into the corner. Sergio Aguero doubled their lead eight minutes later.
However, Super Eagles began their fight back on 44th minute with Kelechi Iheanacho pulling a goal back.
Seven minutes on resumption, Alex Iwobi leveled the game for Nigeria before Brian Idowu in his debut for Nigeria gave the Super Eagles their first lead of the game two minutes later. Iwobi took the game off the Argentines with his second of the night and Nigeria’s fourth on 73rd with a long range shot.
