The unfortunate incident which temporarily brought activities in Zaria Road where the transmission station is located to a standstill also attracted sympathizers, shop owners and passers-by who gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse at the raging inferno which was later contained by men of Plateau State Fire Service.

A statement issued by JEDC Head of Corporate Communications, Friday Adakole expressed regrets over the inconveniences caused as a result of the fire incident.

The statement, however appealed to its teaming customers in Plateau, Gombe, Bauchi and Benue not to despair as everything is being done to remedy the situation and prevent any disruption in power supply
