The ongoing town hall meetings  being organized by Governor Simon Lalong across the seventeen Local Government Areas of the state have been marred by allegations of recruitment of praise singers by government to launder its image

Expressing regrets that the presence of the praise singers at the town hall meetingst wouldn’t have been necessary if government was able to connect with the people and provide them with dividends of democracy, the ADP chairman further challenged the APC led administration to conduct the local government election as according to him, the people were already tired of the APC deceit in the state and were prepared to reject the party at the polls

However, State Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Festus Fuanter denied the allegations

According to him,the process of contribution from the masses had a format that first allows Local Government Chairmen and members of the state House of Assembly to present their report to the people  first before the presentation of mid- term scorecard of the state government
